Judges and Winners 2009
The County TRASHformation winners are displayed on the first floor of the Madison County Administration Building.
Here is a view from the floor above.
As the public enters the Administration Building, "Cleanup Cleo," the paper recycler, greets them. Cleo was the creation of Mr. Ed English, art instructor and recycling coordinator at Leclaire School in Edwardsville.
Judging the competiton were: Mr. Alan J. Dunstan, chairman of the Madison County Board, with County Board member, Jack Minner looking on; Chad Nelson and Felcia Breen, Mississippi Mud Pottery; Jenifer Martin, AbitibiBowater (not pictured); Katy Mike Smaistra, Education Coordinator of Earthways House; Kent Scheibel, Madison County Board member and retired art teacher (not pictured); and Dan Anderson, director and president of the Edwardsville Arts Center & retired head of the ceramics program at SIUE.
